I’m beginning to understand Aion, Nexus and the current plays for power in a more complex and personal way. Ethan Cross is the dark horse in this installment and I can’t wait to see how his story weaves into this puzzle full of Adventure, Ancient Knowledge Lost and the Rediscovery of Universal Truths. The contests for power and dominance and the role “free will” plays continues to draw me in. I can’t wait to see how they emerge in Book III!

I love the story line combining the discoveries and buried truths of ancient history to our world today with Aion, an ancient AI system, watching throughout time as we strive to create AI in our world today. The author weaves historical fiction and sci-fi together in a great tale with characters that explore human evolution and the future we see developing today. I’m excited for Book II to see what adventures develop next!

Not a big fan of the subject matter and I admit I am only halfway through. But the story has drawn me in and held my attention. A great blend of intrigue and provoking thought. I am loving the book so far and think it will remain just as interesting through it's entirety. I would highly recommend.

This book turned out to be an amazing book. Not what genre I normally read. Was pleasantly surprised. Found it to be a very well written. Kept me interest whole way thru and really got me thinking about ancient history. Can’t wait to see where the next book takes us!

Such an interesting, exciting book! The topic is not my usual genre but this book grabbed my attention right away. I was thoroughly impressed with how much knowledge Mr. Reis has on ancient history, mythology, military operations, science and philosophy. I had to keep Google handy while I was reading this book. I learned a lot. I especially loved how there were so many strong, intelligent, funny women characters in this book. It is SUCH a timely subject. Really amazing. I feel this is a must read and I would love to see it as a movie!
